Is Loklok Down Right Now?

When Loklok won't open, it's rarely the whole site going dark. Nine times out of ten it's a local block, a moved domain, or a quick browser issue — all easy to fix. Here's how to diagnose and get back to streaming fast.

Why Loklok might not be working

• ISP block — your provider has blacklisted the domain (most common). A mirror or VPN fixes this instantly.
• Domain moved — Loklok switched addresses; you need the new domain.
• Temporary outage — a short server hiccup; wait a few minutes and retry.
• Cache/DNS — old data cached by your browser or DNS resolver.

Quick fixes (in order)

1. Hard refresh the page (Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + R) and clear your browser cache.
2. Try a mirror — open a working Loklok proxy from a different domain.
3. Turn on a VPN and connect to another country to bypass ISP blocks.
4. Switch DNS to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8, which sidesteps many basic blocks.
5. Use mobile data — home broadband blocks often don't apply on your phone network.
6. Check the new domain in case the address changed.
